Are Steeltoys products made in the Netherlands?
Yes. Steeltoys manufactures its products in the Netherlands. We deliberately choose to manufacture locally so that we can maintain control over quality, finish, and customization. Instead of cheap mass production, we focus on sustainable products designed for long-term use.
What sets Steeltoys apart from cheap imported products?
Steeltoys focuses on quality, durability, and solid craftsmanship. Our products are made from sturdy materials and designed with stability and long-term use in mind. Cheap imported products often cut corners on materials, finish, and construction, whereas we focus on reliability and longevity.
Are the products suitable for intensive use?

Materials and finishing
What materials are the products made of?
Most Steeltoys products are made of sturdy steel. Depending on the product, other durable materials may also be used. When selecting materials, the focus is on stability, durability, and a long service life.
Why does Steeltoys use steel instead of wood?
Steel offers greater strength, stability and durability in long-term use. In addition, steel is more resistant to load and wear. Using powder-coated steel also creates a strong and low-maintenance finish.
What finish do you guys use?
Many products are finished with a durable powder coating. This finish is more wear-resistant than standard paint and helps protect steel from scratches, corrosion and daily use. This keeps products tidy and well protected for longer.
Custom
Is customization possible?
Custom modifications are available for many products. Because Steeltoys manufactures in the Netherlands, certain dimensions, designs, or finishes can be customized. Please contact us to discuss the options for your specific situation.

Shipping and discretion
Are orders shipped discreetly?

Assembly and use
Are the products easy to assemble?

How do I prevent damage to the coating?
Avoid sharp objects, hard impact and harsh chemicals. Regular cleaning helps remove dirt and dust, keeping the finish tidy longer.
How long do the products last?
With normal use and proper maintenance, steel products are designed for long-term use. Service life depends on load, conditions of use and maintenance, among other factors.
Warranty and returns
Do I have a warranty on my order?
Yes. Steeltoys products are covered by the statutory warranty. This means that a product must meet the standards you can reasonably expect from it.
Can I return a product?
For standard products, the legal right of withdrawal usually applies. For custom products, different conditions may apply because they are specially produced to order.
What should I do in case of shipping damage?
Please check your order as soon as possible after receiving it. In case of visible damage, please contact us immediately and, if possible, take clear pictures of the packaging and the product so that we can provide an appropriate solution faster.
